NMRKT exists to help you find what you're in the market for and expose you to new brands and retailers we think you'll like.

1. Set your status for "what you're in the market for", by that we mean, what are you interested in purchasing this season (i.e. "a black fall cocktail dress", "a varsity jacket", "brown boots")
2. NMRKT will then suggest items to you. We do this 2 ways: NMRKT has a team of tastemakers and stylists who personally suggest to you, and brands & retailers who have a "match" for the item you're looking for can suggest to you as well. Don't worry, we monitor the gateway for all suggestions you receive so you'll never get spam, something different from what you are looking for, or emails/messages from the brands & retailers.
3. If you connect your NMRKT account to your Facebook or invite friends via email or twitter, you can also have your friends suggest items to you.

If you filled out your profile settings, NMRKT uses information like your location , age, NMRKT status/heart/favorite history to better suggest items to you. For example, if you live in southern California, we won't suggest a down parka to you if you say you're in the market for a winter coat, or if you hearted 3 items from the same designer this month, we'll make sure they have you on their radar as someone who likes the brand. We will NEVER release your personal information like your full name, your email address etc. to anyone including the brands and retailers. We won't sell your information either. We simply use it to help personalize your online shopping experience.

NMRKT's mission is to help consumers find what they are really looking for, and brands & retailers understand their consumers better so they can react, manage and produce better product for the market. We respect the small margins that brands and retailers make and want them to succeed. NMRKT makes $1 when a brand chooses to suggest an item to you, and $29.99/month for using our supply chain efficiency platform (that's internal industry stuff that has nothing to do with your user activity).

No way Jose. We respect your privacy and social media voice and would never post on your behalf. We only suggest you connect your Facebook account to your NMRKT account so that your friends can see what you're in the market for and suggest items to you. Because no one knows your style better than your friends and family.

No way Jose. Connecting your twitter to NMRKT only allows you to invite more friends to connect with you, and to share your status IF and ONLY IF you want to.
